This is the place where smart people and breakthrough ideas converge. It’s not about showing off our work. It’s about what’s going on around all of us and collectively sharing that knowledge to help drive your success.

Please vote!

Please go to facebook.com/partnersforhumanity and vote for the Urban Ecology Center. If the ad we created for them has the most votes by Dec. 6, the Urban Ecology Center will receive a $500 donation.

Partners for Humanity is an annual program that’s centered on giving back to the community. Advertising agencies in Milwaukee — like us! — create pro-bono ad campaigns for nonprofit organizations that otherwise wouldn’t have access to these kinds of resources. These ad campaigns are then published, for free, in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel newspaper and on JSOnline.com.

But free creative and ad space isn’t the end of it. National judges then choose the top three campaigns, and the winning nonprofits get a $1,000 donation from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Why stop there? This year, the community also has the chance to get involved. Go to the Partners for Humanity Facebook page and “Like” your favorite campaigns. The ad with the most “Likes” by Dec. 6 will receive a $500 donation to the winning nonprofit.

So please vote for the Urban Ecology Center! It’s a neighborhood-based, environmental education, nonprofit community center. Their “outdoor laboratories,” located in two urban parks, include 15 acres of wooded land and riparian habitat on the east bank of the Milwaukee River, an imaginative, habitat-themed playground and a lagoon. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to learn about nature and have a positive impact on the environment.
